Important dates in photography

What did each of these dates mean to photography?

1826- Niepce creates a permanent image. This is the first ever permanent image.

1900- The first mass marketed camera (The brownie). Introduced the concept of the snapshot. Sold for one dollar each.

1930-  Light meters and photoelectric cells were introduced. First colour photos taken from the air.

1948- Edwin Land makes the polariod camera.

1975- Steve Sassoon at 'Kodak' makes the first working CCD digital still camera.

1990- Adobe Photoshop released.

1994-  

2000- Camera phone introduced in japan.

2009-
