Advertising helps to convince an audience to buy a product. Using celebrities to persuade an audience into buying the product. Justin Bieber's perfumes are advertised to a large group of girls in Justins fanbase.
Some Day.This perfume is aimed at girls because -of course- it is a girls perfume. Justin Bieber is advertising this perfume which brings a whole new target audience. He has a whole fanbase of young female fans. Having over 35 million twitter followers, using Justin Bieber to sell a perfume is a very good technique as he can promote his perfume via the social networking site.
This advert makes the audience want the perfume as it features the target audience' idol with a girl who is wearing the perfume. It convinces girls that if they wear this perfume it means that Justin Bieber will think that they smell nice.
Justin Bieber is endorsing his own product to specifically use his fanbase to become a target audience for his perfume.
The facial expression pulled by the girl used in this advert suggests a bit of a seductive theme. In theory, this is to make girls feel jealous and want to wear the perfume to be like that girl.
After releasing this perfume Justin Bieber also released another fragrance called "Girlfriend". The name of this perfume already suggests that if a girl wears this perfume then they'll be like Justin Bieber.
The facial expressions on the female model are exactly the same as the previous advert. The fragrance is called Girlfriend and the adverts state Justin Bieber's Girlfriend in a technique to get every girl who wishes to be 'Justin Biebers Girlfriend' to buy the perfume.
Justin Bieber tweeted about his new perfume saying 'If you want to smell like how i'd like my girl to smell go buy GIRLFRIEND'. This immediately gets all of his 35 million followers wanting the new fragrance.
The photographs used in the adverts are relaxed and they look very comfortable together suggesting that there is a bit of a relationship going on. This makes the audience want the product. The female models look to be seducing justin bieber. They look close together making the audience jealous wanting to be this girl.
The colours of pink and purple suggest warm emotions e.g love and passion. Not suprising as he is a teen heart throb and can use this technique to sell products
