Music- Music uses photography to promote artists in forms such as calenders and merchandise. An example of photography in music would be Justin bieber and his 2013 calender , this contains photos to promote the artist. The source of this is :

Newspapers- Newspapers are used for photo-journalism in order to help tell the story written in the newspaper. An example of this would be the missing april jones story where images were posted of the help and support of the search. The source of this is:

TV- TV is used in photography for advertising and for photo journalism. An example of this would be the NSPCC adverts , designed to advertise the company and encourage donations but also the images shown on the advertisement help to tell a story.
Internet- Photography is used in Internet and websites via. social media , taking photos , using photoshop and uploading to a blog or social networking site are all examples of photography in social media which are commonly used by photographers to share photographs. Magazines- Magazines are used in advertising which is an example of media which use photography. Products are always being advertised in magazines. Posters- Posters are an example of promoting and advertising anything. Posters can be found in many different designs such as advertising new computer games such as call of duty posters, music artists and band posters to advertise and promote artists .
